Item Description
Real Madrid C.F. away match issued shirt for Roberto Carlos for the Champions League game between Dinamo Kyiv and Real Madrid, which took place in Kyiv, “Valeriy Lobanovsky Stadion”, on March 17th 1999. This kit is pretty rare because that was the only game that the team played with this style of shirt and because the shirt had many different details from the shop version and from the LaLiga player’s version. Aside from the smaller sponsor used by the team in all the Champions League’s games due to Uefa rules, this shirt has the collar with no “Real Madrid” embroidered on it and it has only one stripe instead of three as it happened for the LaLiga shirts. Also the Champions League’s badge of the season was different from every other Club. Shirts with these details were never sold in shops but they were exclusively made for the players. The shirt comes from a former C.F. Real Madrid player who decided to auction it.
