Argentina National Team special tribute shirt given to Lionel Messi by the AFA President Claudio Tapia to celebrate Lionel Messi record-breaking 148th Cap with the National Team which took place during the Copa America game between Bolivia and Argentina which took place in Cuiaba, “Arena Pantanal”, on June 28th 2021. In this game Lionel Messi made history with Argentina, becoming the country’s all-time record appearances holder surpasseing former team-mate Javier Mascherano with his 148th international cap. Only 3 shirts were released for Lionel Messi. One shirt was framed and given to the player and two more shirts were given to Claudio Tapia and to AFA. This shirt was never sold in shops and it has the player’s name set on the back which different from shop’s shirts, which is bigger and more squared as visible in the attached below. This player name set was never sold to the public. In the picture below the moment of the record celebration when AFA President Claudio Tapia gave the shirt to Lionel Messi. The shirt comes from an Argentina National Team’s member.
